GORILLA GLUE SUMMER INTERNSHIP
DELIVERABLES
During the summer of 2022 I was taken on as an intern at Gorilla Glue alongside their in-house design team. Working with the them, I built rewarding friendships and connections. I also was able to participate in meetings between design, brand and management; learning how the teams operate within brand guidelines while continuing to evolve the brand. Having this real-world experience has grown my own working methods while continuing to develop my interpersonal skills with others.
During my duration I created social media content, branding products for the office and was a critical role in assisting in labeling dielines. this helped streamlined the process between marketing and engineering’s communication for finalization of dielines. It was an extraordinary experience to work in the real world alongside a fantastic team that put the employee above all else.

Job Shadow
project
before starting in the summer, I participated in a job shadow/ interview project that tasked me to create two product ads. One for gorilla glue adhesive dots and O’Keeffe’s working hands. Both brands are significantly different in design and identity. This allowed for me to experience working with an established brands while displaying my versatility as a designer. I chose to do slightly experimental motion graphics within relation of the brand and static social posts. By using previously created posts and the brand guide for each company I was able to create cohesive advertisements that kept in brand image consistent. I was also able to develop understanding of the Gorilla Glue and O’Keeffe’s brand.
